The Slate PC is a proof of concept made to demonstrate Stantum’s digital resistive multi-touch technology capabilities applied to the MID and tablet PC form factor.

It is a modified Dell Mini Inspiron 1010 with a touch module enabling 10 simultaneous touches with your fingers, nails, stylus and finger-pressure detection. The Multi-touch technology is powered by Stantum’s PMatrix™ IP core and firmware.

Since the Slate PC is a handmade proof of concept, it is available in limited quantities and will not be mass-produced.
